From
the East:
Traveling West on I-64, take Exit 4 (9th Street). Proceed down the ramp in the right hand lane which will take
you to Jefferson Street (do not cross the intersection at the bottom of the
ramp). Continue on Jefferson Street until you reach 18th Street. Turn left at
18th Street and continue traveling south until it intersects with Broadway. Turn
right onto Broadway, get into the left-hand turning lane, and take an immediate
left. At this point, 18th Street becomes Dixie Highway and you will notice the
former Philip Morris property on either side of Dixie Highway. Pass Philip
Morris, cross the railroad tracks, and turn left into the visitor’s parking
lot.

On
August 26, 2005, you have the opportunity to attend a uniquely educational and
entertaining diversity workshop.
This half-day, fast-paced session focuses on two very timely subjects –
generational and workforce diversity, presented by two national speakers who are
subject matter experts.

·
Ms.
Carol Dawson
- President, EEO GUIDANCE, Inc.
Carol brings her first-hand
experience from working as a federal OFCCP (EEO) Compliance Officer and Area
Director to this workshop, blending interactive “never boring” exercises,
stories and humor to educate you in current diversity trends and future
expectations. Find out if you are a
“Diversity Change Agent” or an “Avoider”.

· Ms. Cathy Fyock, CSP, SPHR –
Cathy is an employment strategist providing insightful information regarding issues of an aging and changing work force. According to a recent SHRM survey, 28% of HR professionals believe that conflict between workers of different generations has increased in the last five years, and 33% expect it to increase in the next five years. Cathy will discuss how you will need to change your business assumptions about workers of all ages, and find answers to the question, “How can we all get along?”.
Due to our anticipated full house, please sign up early so that you will not miss out on ways you can be prepared for the current and future diversity trends within your workforce.
