From I-65 South: Take the I-264 (Watterson Xway) East exit. Follow the directions above. 

From Airport: Take the I-264 (Watterson Xway) East exit.  Follow the directions above.  

From I-64 East: Take Exit 12B (I-264 East/Watterson Xway). Then take Exit 20A (Shelbyville Rd., US 60/Middletown). Shelby Campus is 2 miles on the left. 

From I-64 West: Take Exit 15 (Hurstbourne Pkwy., Middletown/Jeffersontown/ Shelby Campus). Turn right on Hurstbourne Pkwy. Travel approximately 2 miles to the intersection of Shelbyville Rd. (US 60). Turn left on to Shelbyville Rd. Shelby Campus is approximately ¼ mile on the right. 

I-71 South: Take the I-264 (Watterson Xway) West exit.  This is a left turn.  Take the Shelbyville Road East exit (US 60/Middletown).  Shelby Campus is 2 miles on the left.

Our speaker for the day is Eric Dunleavy, please see his bio and seminar topics listed below.

 Bio: Dr. Dunleavy, an industrial-organizational psychologist, is a Senior Consultant at DCI Consulting Group, where he is involved in OFCCP audit and litigation consulting. He also serves on staff with the Center for Corporate Equality, which is a national nonprofit employer association based in Washington, DC, whose mission is to promote proactive affirmative action, equal employment regulatory compliance, and other human resource management strategies to create diverse organizations free from workplace bias.  

Before joining DCI, Eric was a Senior Research Scientist at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), where he worked as an expert witness on EEO litigation. Eric received his doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a concentration in quantitative data analysis from the University of Houston.  

Dr. Dunleavy is currently the legal chair of the Personnel Testing Council of Metropolitan Washington, D.C., and is on the editorial board of The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist as coauthor of the "On the Legal Front" column. He has also published in journals such as the Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, the Journal of Business and Psychology, and Industrial-Organizational Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practice. He is currently an adjunct faculty member of George Mason University.

Please join the Kentucky ILG for an informative session discussing immigration trends and the impact it has on your workplace.

 
Areas of discussion will include I-9 updates; H1B overview; DHS update; using on-line I-9s versus paper I-9s and much more.


Mr. Ron Crouch -
Mr. Crouch is Director of the Kentucky State Data Center located at the University of Louisville.  The Kentucky State Data Center is the official clearinghouse for Census data for the state of Kentucky.  KSDC provides data on population, housing, education, employment, and other social indicators.  Ron has developed a national database analyzing trends by both Census regions and state.  He also has developed Census profiles for all 50 states including population pyramids by race and Hispanic origin, a population chart showing population trends by age by race and Hispanic origin, and tables indicating trends on demographic, social and economic variables. 

Mr. Charles Baesler - Mr. Baesler is a Partner at Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC and is Chair of the firm’s Immigration Practice Group. He currently serves as Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Mid-South Chapter, which covers Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee and Mississippi. He represents employers before the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Labor and U.S. consulates overseas in obtaining employment authorization for various professionals and skilled workers. He also represents companies based outside the United States in obtaining investor visa status to facilitate direct investment and transfer of personnel to U.S. markets. Mr. Baesler also advises employers on compliance with federal laws against hiring undocumented workers.  

Ms. Sheila Minihane - Ms. Minihane is a Partner at Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC in Louisville, KY in the Immigration Practice Group. Her practice focuses on guiding employers through the U.S. immigration sponsorship process and related immigration issues including I-9 compliance. She represents professional workers across industries including international transferees, engineers, scientists, university faculty, and healthcare professionals including physicians and nurses.
