how Adverse Impact trends are being looked at by the OFCCP today. Gain a
better understanding of the Lily Ledbetter case and how to be prepared for
systemic pay investigations. Learn about the changes made to the ADA and how
it can impact your business. You will also hear from the EEOC regarding the
Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act (GINA) and get an update from the
OFCCP.

Take I-64 West of Louisville to exit 123 in New Albany, Indiana.
Turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto Scribner Street.
Pass through 2 stop lights. At the stop sign turn right (south) on Main Street
(Indiana State Road 111). Indiana SR 111 will split into a "Y." At
the split, bear left and proceed across the railroad crossing. Horseshoe is
approximately 8 miles ahead.

informative session.
January 1, 2009 brings the implementation of the Amendment to the
ADA. What does this mean to your company and how can you prepare
for these new guidelines? Learn the changes the ADA amendment makes and how to
navigate the new rules. The EEOC will be making changes as directed by this
amendment and we will facilitate discussion regarding these changes.
Also, we will provide an overview of The Employee Free Choice Act
which may be re-introduced soon. This potential legislation will make it
significantly easier for workers covered by the NLRA to organize.

Laurie Kemp joined Woodward, Hobson & Fulton’s
Louisville office after graduating cum
laude from the University of Louisville School of Law. Laurie’s primary
areas of practice are employment law, workers’ compensation and Longshore
Act litigation. Her practice includes all aspects of pre-litigation
investigation, evidence and witness preparation and trial and appellate work.
Her practice also includes responding to and participating in agency
investigation and administrative proceedings, including Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission, Kentucky Labor Cabinet, US Department of Labor and
Kentucky and Indiana Workers’ Compensation Boards.
Ms. Mitzi Root, PHR – Senior
Consultant, IntegrityHR
Mitzi Root, PHR, has over 15 years progressive human resource
management experience. Prior to joining IntegrityHR, she served as the
Training and Compliance Coordinator for Senior Care, Inc., a high-quality
senior housing and care services provider. Ms. Root was also a Human Resources
Manager for SpectraCare, Inc., which provided home health care and infusion
pharmacy services. Ms. Root was the Coordinator of Affirmative Action and
Employee Relations at The University of Louisville. Her responsibilities
covered a broad range of human resources and training functions for the
University, including Affirmative Action program development and complaint
investigation and resolution. As a consultant, she focuses her efforts on
delivery of training and development programs, human resource management
initiatives for clients, recruiting, conducting investigations and audits of
human resource practices, various compliance initiatives and compensation plan
design and delivery. Ms. Root is certified as a Professional in Human
Resources (PHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute.
